Timothy Bates has extensive experience leading companies through growth/turn-around cycles and has expertise creating market-driven and business integration initiatives requiring strategic/tactical planning and implementation. He has also directed all aspects of product and service development cycles to achieve strong market penetration and solid financial results in global markets.

Prior to working with Bates Strategy Group, he was President/CEO for Techniku Inc., where he successfully led a “high-risk” turnaround of a global engineering/manufacturing company. In this position, he developed and aligned the management team to improve business performance, built and mentored the sales and marketing team, and transitioned the company from a 30% loss to two consecutive years of 25+% growth and profitability.

Prior to that, he was Director of Product Management and Business Development for Intrado, where he managed product and business development for the Wireless Business Unit. At Intrado, Timothy successfully created and deployed the company’s first commercial offering of its wireless phase-2 911 location service. He was also Director of E-Commerce/Product Line Management for XILINX, where he managed the software product line and developed/launched a new e-commerce business initiative for the software division of this $2 billion global integrated circuit corporation.

Prior to that, Timothy was Director of Marketing and Communications for Research Systems, Inc. where he created the marketing and measurement matrix for a $2 million marketing organization that drove $22 million in company product sales. In this capacity, he directed a 14- member team of product managers, business development managers, and marketing communications professionals that provided market analyses, product planning, custom lifecycle management, sales support, strategic planning, and PR/communications for five product lines. Timothy also worked for U.S. West Marketing Resources and Bell Atlantic Mobile where he held marketing and sales management positions.

Timothy holds a degree in Finance and Management from State University of New York, a BS. from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Certificate of Advanced Study – Decision Making Sciences for Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Camberley brings over 20 years of sales and marketing experience as a former executive with COPAN Systems, VERITAS, GE and EDS. As the VP of Marketing and Business Development at COPAN Systems she led the startup from concept to market, establishing a new data storage category – MAID – winning market acclaim. As the Vice President of Field, Channel and Alliances at VERITAS she led a 65 person worldwide marketing team to restructure the channel program, drive strategic marketing with alliance partners such as Oracle, SUN, HDS, HP and Seibel plus implemented a highly successful lead generation campaign attended by 20,000 customers worldwide. At GE Access, a $2B distribution company, she developed total solution practices for storage, web and security scaling the business from $14MM to $500MM. She has held director and management positions for sales and marketing at EDS and IBM. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in International Marketing from California State University – Long Beach and numerous executive certificates at Wellesley and Wharton School of Business.
